Büyükada’daki San Pacifico Kilisesi, Ignazio Corpi’nin yaptırdığı ve mimar Giacomo Leoni’nin tasarladığı yeni-gotik bir kilisedir; 1885’te inşa edildi. 1894 İstanbul depreminde kilise ve manastır hasar gördü, depremden yaklaşık bir buçuk ay sonra onarıldı.

İç mekânda ahşap bir tavan ile çeşitli resim ve heykeller bulunur; girişteki haçla taçlanmış demir kapının sembolü vitraylarda da tekrarlanır. Kilisede, 1935–1944 arasında Türkiye’de papalık temsilcisi olarak bulunan ve Büyükada’yı sık sık ziyaret eden Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli (Papa XXIII. Yuhanna) ile ilişkilendirilen bir tablo da vardır.

The San Pacifico Church on Büyükada is a neo-Gothic church built at the expense of Ignazio Corpi and designed by the architect Giacomo Leoni; it was built in 1885. The church and friary were damaged in the Istanbul earthquake of 1894 and repaired about a month and a half later.

Inside are a wooden ceiling and various paintings and statues; the symbol of the iron gate crowned with a cross at the entrance is repeated in the stained glass. The church also has a painting associated with Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli (Pope John XXIII), who was the papal representative in Turkey from 1935 to 1944 and often visited Büyükada.
