The Holy Rosary
Tesbih, Mesih İsa’nın hayatındaki gizemler üzerinde Meryem Ana ile birlikte düşünmenin yoludur. Aşağıda duaların Türkçesi ve karşılaştırma için İngilizcesi, gizemler ve tesbihin nasıl dua edileceği yer alır. O günün gizemi kendiliğinden işaretlenir.
Tesbih nasıl dua edilir?
- Haç işaretiyle başlayın ve haç üzerinde İman Açıklaması’nı okuyun.Begin with the Sign of the Cross and say the Apostles’ Creed on the crucifix.
- İlk büyük tanede bir Göklerdeki Pederimiz okuyun.On the first large bead, say the Our Father.
- Onu izleyen üç küçük tanede, iman, umut ve sevgi dilekleriyle üç Selam Sana Meryem okuyun.On the next three small beads, say three Hail Marys for faith, hope and love.
- Bir Peder’e Şan okuyun.Say the Glory Be.
- O günün ilk gizemini anın ve büyük tanede bir Göklerdeki Pederimiz okuyun.Announce the first mystery of the day and say the Our Father on the large bead.
- On küçük tanede, gizem üzerinde düşünerek on Selam Sana Meryem okuyun.On the ten small beads, say ten Hail Marys while meditating on the mystery.
- Bir Peder’e Şan ve ardından Fatima Duası’nı okuyun.Say the Glory Be, then the Fatima Prayer.
- Beş gizem tamamlanana kadar 5, 6 ve 7. adımları yineleyin.Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 until all five mysteries are complete.
- Selam Sana Kraliçe ile bitiriş duasını okuyun ve haç işaretiyle bitirin.Conclude with the Hail Holy Queen and the closing prayer, then the Sign of the Cross.

İman Açıklaması
Haç üzerinde
İnanıyorum Tek Allah’a,
her şeye gücü yeten Peder’e,
Yerin ve göğün Yaratıcısı’na
ve O’nun Biricik Oğlu olan Rabbimiz İsa Mesih’e.
O, Kutsal Ruh’tan beden alarak bakire Meryem’den doğdu, Pontius Pilatus döneminde ızdırap çekti, Haça gerilerek öldü, Ölüler diyarına indi, üçüncü gün dirildi, göğe çıktı ve her şeye gücü yeten Peder Allah’ın sağında oturdu. Oradan tekrar yücelik içinde gelerek ölüleri ve dirileri yargılayacaktır.
İnanıyorum, Kutsal Ruh’a, Katolik ve kutsal olan Kilise’ye, Azizlerin paydaşlığına, günahların bağışlanmasına, bedenin dirilmesine ve sonsuz hayata.

The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

Büyük tanelerde
Göklerdeki Pederimiz,
adın yüceltilsin, hükümdarlığın gelsin,
göklerde olduğu gibi, yeryüzünde de Senin isteğin olsun.
Günlük ekmeğimizi bugün de bize ver,
bize kötülük edenleri bağışladığımız gibi,
Sen de bağışla suçlarımızı.
Bizi günah işlemekten koru ve kötülükten kurtar.
Çünkü hükümdarlık, kudret ve yücelik ebediyen Senin’dir.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Tesbihin sonunda, madalyonu tutarak
Selam sana, ey Kraliçe, merhametin Annesi,
yaşamımız, tatlılığımız ve umudumuz, selam sana!
Havva’nın sürgündeki çocukları olarak sana yakarıyoruz.
Bu gözyaşı vadisinde inleyip ağlayarak
sana iç çekiyoruz.
Haydi öyleyse, ey savunucumuz,
o merhametli gözlerini bize çevir.
Ve bu sürgünden sonra
bize rahminin kutsanmış meyvesi İsa’yı göster.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To you do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To you do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
Tesbihi Bitiren Dua
Tesbihin sonunda, Selam Sana Kraliçe’den sonra
V. Bizim için dua et, ey Allah’ın kutsal Annesi.
R. Mesih’in vaatlerine layık olalım diye.
Dua edelim: Ey biricik Oğlu yaşamı, ölümü ve dirilişiyle bize ebedi hayatın ödüllerini kazandıran Allah, sana yalvarırız: Kutsanmış Bakire Meryem’in en kutsal Tesbihinin bu gizemleri üzerinde derin düşünerek onların içerdiğini örnek alalım ve vaat ettiklerine kavuşalım. Aynı Rabbimiz Mesih aracılığıyla. Amin.
Prayer Concluding the Rosary
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray. O God, whose only-begotten Son, by his life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech thee, that meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
